wildchild

she was in The Room.

she stood still, while frame upon frame floated past her.

each frame contained something similar, yet different. they contained fragments of her life..of what had been, of what was, and of what was to come.

she saw herself in them - her emotions, her expressions, her feelings.

some made her smile. she saw smiles of love and joy. of peace and unity, and perfect times of happiness. her smiles, her moments. she could almost hear her own laughter.

but where there was light, there had to be darkness.

and so also in the frames, were the shadows of despair and helplessness, the tears of bitterness and anger. her tears, her shadows, and her heart breaking.

they made a circle around her. one circle became two circles, two became three.

soon she was surrounded by layers of frames, each layer swirling in an opposite direction to the next.

they bobbed up and down, as if they were dancing to a song.

but she was no fool, she knew better. they were taunting her, challenging her.

she looked up at them boldly, defiantly.

There it was.

The World.

It was ready for her.

But was she?
