how one thought always leads to another

we were playing Cranium that day in my humble abode with a coupla (OSSUM) church friends. Nick and I teamed up, and we picked a Pictionary card, so he drew.

he was meant to draw the word OASIS, but he didn't know what it was, and so he drew a really fat man to help me with the first letter.

"O for obese," he later explained.

We ended up coming last-there was no chance to make an epic comeback, unfortunately.

But that's besides the point. Later that night, i replayed the events of the night in my head again.

If only Nick knew what an oasis meant, he could've drawn a desert, and some coconut trees. (and our epic comeback could've stemmed from that point on!)

Or, or, if he knew who Oasis was, he could've drawn 4 men with beards and long sideburns and music notes! and i would've guessed it..and yes, epic comeback.

Hmm..Oasis..they sang some really good songs.

All of a sudden Wonderwall plays in my head...

..which led to the one line that stuck out before all thoughts of Cranium, food, FIFA 10 and Christmas day were lost:

"There are many things that I would like to say to you, but i don't know how.."

my train of thought stopped there, and i fell asleep.
