~Tell Me~

there are times when you feel gloomy
and when the skies stay a perpetual grey,
but tell me, and i will chase them dark clouds away.

and then there are times when you need to vent
or let off some steam and rage
but tell me, and i will suck it all in.

moments, when you feel like crying,
or when your heart feels heavy within you,
tell me, and by your side, i will be.

days, when all seems lost and there is no hope,
and you start to wonder about the point of life,
tell me, and i will remember you in my prayers.

sometimes you don't even have to show it
nor shed a tear, nor speak a word
but i will know you're calling,
and i promise you, i will be there.

so together we go, hand in hand
with smiles, laughter and occasional hugs
knowing that everything will be okay
because tomorrow will be a brighter day.

this might have been inspired by what kim wrote, i don't know.

but this is just my way of saying thanks, really, to everyone of you who've stopped by at some point in my life and taken the time to ask what's wrong or to just wish me well, to help me off the ground again, to make me smile.

and i can say that i mean every word in the poem....because i know you'd do the same for me too.
