"You've already won me over in spite of me
Don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet
Don't be surprised if I love you for all that you are
I couldn't help it, it's all your fault!"
- Head over feet, Alanis Morissette -
Was listening to this on the radio on my way home that night.
Everytime a chorus came around I found myself being tickled by that last line, in particular.
It's like she's scolding the person she fell in love with.
Isn't she just as much to blame as he is?
If anything, wouldn't it be more her fault for allowing herself to fall in love with him?
LOL. Maybe I have a pretty weird sense of humour, but I find it funny.
Not that it's a bad thing to fall in love.
Just sayin', y'know. :P
