i'm now in UWA's science library after being parted from the main campus for aeons. it felt good walking through uni and seeing the cream coloured buildings and brick-red pavements again. enjoyed my morning walk tremendously. even better to see that there exists other human life-forms around campus, as opposed to just us Pods & Dents over at QEII. lol. yeah, that's how secluded we've become. sad, but true.
in about 2 weeks and abit, i will be going to see Victor Wooten live! i don't claim to know much about the bass guitar, heck, i don't even play it all that well! but i've seen his videos, and man, it would be nice to catch him performing in real life. just like CATS, i think it's definitely a box to check in life! :)
also, in about a month's time i will be attending a Podiatry State Conference (another box to check, woot!). a coupla 4th years are going to present their research topic, which will be interesting, and Jon will be too. Jon's a fresh grad, doing Honours in Pod - i still can't believe he's only 20! The thought of embarassing him with huuuge signs and uber loud cheers as he walks up to present is very, very tempting. :P He is quite the shy.
looks like i've got heaps coming my way this August/Sept - party, assignments, basketball, Victor Wooten, all-day Monday placements, birthday celebrations, Brother's Night, conference - let's just hope i don't get snowballed. and not to mention, broke.
reading The Time Traveller's Wife at the moment, and i listen to Train's 'If It's Love' almost everyday. loving both book and song very much.
