Be still..

It's funny how we always read about tragedies in the newspapers and hear about them on the radio and think,"Wow. Thank God that didn't happen to me."

Truth is, they're closer than we think. they hit anytime, anywhere, and they hit closer to home. more than you know.

And then there are those close to the victims..the pain, the suffering..one can only go through it to know and understand what it feels like. to watch your friend leave. to see your friend die.

But when it happens to you, all you can do is pray...and hope for the best.

God forgive me..for being complacent, for taking things for granted. For not enjoying the small things in life. For being selfish..for not sharing the little joys of life with others. For not treasuring enough the relationships i have with others. Forgive me, i pray..and help them. Let them find him. All things are in your hands Lord. You alone can make things happen. Let them find him.

i feel for you.

i wish i could be there with you..to just be there for you. and tell you everything's gonna be okay.

"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed."
