Fireworks!

Alas, the day would’ve been perfect if……
1. I didn’t get lost in the crowd for about 1 hour (1817 yeah, see the crowd behind? I was somewhere in there..call me a baby, but i felt like crying =P)
2. I didn’t come out of the show looking like a tomato..or a cooked crab..or an apple..yeah you get the idea (notice how my face color changes through the pics)
3. We didn’t forget that it was a public holiday and that there were no buses home
4.We didn’t miss the last train to burswood by 2 seconds so that we could’ve hauled some cabs there (apparently there was a concert there that night)
5. We didn’t have to sit at the roadside (jumction of james st and William st), with a bunch of soft toys, looking scared sh*tless everytime tipsy strangers stopped to talk to us about our toys and how we got them and how the royal show was
6. We didn’t have to sleep at the train station for 15-30 mins before our rides home arrived
7. I didn’t have to wake up frickin early the next morning for a stupid maths revision seminar that was so not worth my time and money

Lol. Yeap. The setbacks of the day.

Moral of the story : Do not go out on public holidays unless you’re driving and you know EXACTLY how you’re getting home.

So there you have it. My day at the Perth Royal Show.
